Bellway Homes is warming up the autumn season by using a temperate colour palette within the two beautifully presented new showhomes, the Belfry and the Turnberry, at the company’s Alloa development – Claremont Park.

Benefiting from peaceful, semi-rural surroundings, Claremont Park offers a selection of three, four and five-bedroom homes within the heart of Clackmannanshire’s ‘Wee County’, several of which are making their debut north of the Border, including the Belfry and the Turnberry.

Fraser Conn, Sales and Marketing Director at Bellway Homes, says: “Alloa has much to offer as a location, from great local amenities to good public transport links. Add to this the choice of homes we have available at Claremont Park, as well as a number of incentives we currently have available, and it is no surprise that we are continuing to enjoy a consistent level of sales.”

The incentives Bellway Homes has available include being able to move-in with just a £99 deposit as well as the option to buy through Part Exchange, Express Mover or Mi New Home.

Under Part Exchange, Bellway Homes ensures an independent evaluation is carried out on a prospective buyer’s existing property, guaranteeing a fair offer. The housebuilder also covers estate agent’s costs, including the Home Report and any associated marketing costs, providing buyers with substantial savings in the process.

Express Mover has also been devised to help alleviate the hassle at times associated with buying a new home. Bellway recommends an independent local agent to help sell a buyer’s existing house and to market the property.

The company is a provider of ‘Mi New Home’, a new initiative developed by the home building industry and supported by the Scottish Government that aims to help overcome the difficulty caused by large deposit requirements. This initiative is open to anyone looking to buy a new property up to the value of £250,000, it is enabling buyers to secure a home with only a 5% deposit and also benefit from the availability of a 95% mortgage from participating lenders.

On viewing the showhomes, it is easy to see why the development enjoys a healthy level of interest from prospective buyers.

The three-bedroom detached Belfry, complete with integral garage, is a highly stylish and practical home for a young family. The well-proportioned lounge exudes a feeling of calmness. The L-shaped, egg-yolk coloured sofa contrasts with the soft, grey carpet and Chenille covered armchair. The mix of yellow, black and white scatter cushions coordinate perfectly with the large black and white framed photographs, ebony shade of the standard lamp and modern white coffee table.

The colour theme continues within the spacious dining kitchen. The immaculate white cabinetry of the fitted units work well with the silver-grey tiled floor and integrated stainless steel oven, hob and cookerhood. Warmth is added to the kitchen via four beach effect wall units and the yellow wallpaper on the feature wall of the dining area, complete with an elegant circular glass dining table and four retro, charcoal-grey cushioned chairs. A separate utility room and downstairs cloakroom complete this level of the Belfry.

One the upper floor of the property, the zesty tones of each of the three bedrooms, including the en-suite master-bedroom ,is sure to brighten up the darkest winter morning.

While the summer glow of colours used throughout the Belfry have been thoughtfully applied to appeal to young family buyers, next door’s colour scheme within the five-bedroom detached Turnberry, with double integral garage, has been fashioned with the more mature family buyer in mind. The property has a very grown-up vibe, providing an interior that exudes serenity and style in equal measure.

Two sumptuous, cream leather sofas are positioned at either side of the room; while between them sits a square shaped coffee table, comprising grey marble base and glass top. A large ebony plasma screen takes centre stage on the main feature wall above a stark white sideboard. The wall itself displays a wallpaper of white and pencil grey sketched swans, creating an attractive mural.

Across the hallway from the lounge is a separate dining room – such is the size of the large dining kitchen within the Turnberry that many buyers may choose to utilise this room as a family room or study.

The kitchen of the Turnberry has been beautifully executed. High gloss calico and matching floor tiles harmonise with the white marble work surface, giving this room the appearance of a tasteful and very modern Italian kitchen. Adjoining the kitchen is a dining area where four white cushioned chairs are placed around a glass dining table in front of the patio doors, which open on to the rear garden. Next to the dining area is an inviting corner sofa, the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine either before or after dinner.

The five-bedrooms on the upper floor of the Turnberry each provide a tranquil interior, nowhere more so than the master-bedroom, which not only has the added luxury of its own en-suite, but also a separate dressing area complete with a full bank of sliding wardrobes.

Alloa lies on the north bank of the Firth of Forth with stunning views towards the Ochil Hills. The town benefits from a variety of retail and leisure pursuits including a new community health centre and retail park, which are both within walking distance from Claremont Park. There are a number of nurseries and no less than five primary schools in the town, while secondary education is provided at the rebuilt modern teaching campus – Alloa Academy.

Stirling, with its medieval castle, historic town centre and wealth of modern amenities is only a 10 minute drive along the A907. Alloa’s own rich historic past is also evident, notably the 15th century Alloa Tower, the surviving part of the ancestral medieval residence of the Erskine family, the Earls of Mar.

The newly re-opened Alloa Railway Station has an hourly service to Glasgow’s Queen Street Station, via Stirling, Larbert and Lenzie. There is also a regular service to Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Inverness.

Claremont Park is well placed for access to the newly opened Clackmannanshire Bridge, which provides main motorway links to the M9 and M87, making travel to Falkirk, Stirling, Kincardine, Edinburgh, Perth and Glasgow all reasonable commuting distance.

Prices at Claremont Park are currently released from £175,995. For further information on the development, see bellway.co.uk.
