If you’re looking for a new home in 2013, why not visit Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties’ Lion Park development in Hambrook, where you can take a look around this popular site and reserve now at 2012 prices.

With increasing confidence in the housing market and property prices on the rise, would-be purchasers at Lion Park can now reserve a home at this year’s price and move in 2013, giving house hunters another reason to take the plunge.

Fiona Creed, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties, states: “Increasing house prices combined with improving mortgage affordability is providing a real opportunity for purchasers who have been considering making the move to a new home. We have a fantastic selection of homes at extremely competitive prices at Lion Park, not to mention a raft of financial schemes that can make moving onto or up the ladder even easier and more affordable.

“So if you’re keen to make the move in 2013, why not pay the development a visit to find out more!”

Thanks to Taylor Wimpey’s commitment to supporting first time buyers with limited finances, the leading home builder is offering the much-admired FirstBuy shared equity scheme at Lion Park.

Due to popularity the 5% deposit initiative is only available on the four bedroom Teal house, so house hunters are urged to visit Lion Park soon before this sought-after property is snapped up.

The Teal hosts a welcoming entrance hallway, well proportioned kitchen with informal dining area, a spacious living/dining room with French doors leading to the rear garden and a convenient cloakroom, all on the ground floor. Upstairs you’ll find the master bedroom with en suite, three further bedrooms and the family bathroom. The Teal is priced at £250,000 or from as little as £200,000 with FirstBuy.

FirstBuy works through a joint loan of 20% from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) and Taylor Wimpey, which means that eligible purchasers only need to pay a 5% deposit and obtain a 75% loan-to-value mortgage. The loan is repayable at the end of the 25 year mortgage term or when the property is sold. To be eligible, purchasers must be first time buyers and the total household earning should be less than £60,000.

Lion Park currently comprises a fine selection of two and four bedroom homes, with prices starting from just £190,000 for the sought-after Lapwing coach house design.

The development is just a ten minute drive from the historic town of Chichester, and is ideally located close to major road networks, including the M27. In addition with the local train station in close proximity, London and the surrounding area is easily accessible. There is also a vast array of local schools for children of all ages and the University of Chichester.
