Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour blasts onto the App Store

Gameloft’s latest installment of the #1 FPS for Smartphones and Tablets, Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour, has launched on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
In the wake of a nuclear disaster, the only chance to avoid global devastation lies in the hands of a few elite soldiers who must track down and rescue the world’s leaders from a frighteningly familiar terrorist group led by the sinister and ruthless Edward Page. Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour pushes the boundaries of mobile gaming with console-like graphics, lifelike animations and dynamic objects powered by the Havok Engine, letting players dive into the most memorable action thriller ever.
Modern Combat 4 also includes a totally redesigned multiplayer mode. Up to 12 players can battle each other across eight brand new maps, from the sniper friendly rooftops of Dog Days, to the tight spaces of an Aircraft Carrier. A new specialization system with redesigned skills lets players choose their preferred style of play from the four combat specializations on offer - Intervention for fast and incisive offense, Stealth for players who prefer to be silent but deadly, Front Line for those looking for a balance of mobility and Firepower and Support for players who want to concentrate on team objectives rather than winning a firefight.
Players can customize their gameplay profiles with an improved loadout system that offers over 20,000 unique weapon configurations - perfect for battling your way to the top of the leaderboards via the new ranking system. More information including trailers, strategy guides and online leaderboards can be found at modern-combat.net.
