Taylor Wimpey Essex boosts Dovercourt community

Developer Taylor Wimpey is spending more than £450,000 on improvements in the local community as part of its commitment to building new homes for sale in Dovercourt at its Peninsula development.

Leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey is investing £472,000 in community facilities as part of its new homes development in the Essex seaside town of Dovercourt.

Peninsula is a superb selection of stylish one and two-bedroom apartments and stunning two, three and four-bedroom new houses for sale in Dovercourt, located close to Blue Flag beaches and with all the amenities of this popular town within easy reach.

The development includes 28 affordable homes for rent and shared ownership, giving local residents and key workers the opportunity to enjoy life in a brand new Dovercourt property within their own community.

Taylor Wimpey’s investment includes £148,000 for local open space, plus £115,000 for highways improvements and public transport infrastructure, and £80,000 to improve The Hangings footpath and cycleway which follows the disused railway line between Dovercourt Station and Parkeston Road.

Further contributions will pay for landscape maintenance, an equipped children’s play area to be located within the development and a wildlife corridor running along the boundary.
