Redrow to launch large and luxurious homes in Wolverhampton

With a show home opening Saturday January 12 buyers will soon be able to picture themselves living a life of luxury at Compton Park in Wolverhampton.
Redrow’s housing venture forms part of a wider £50 million scheme to regenerate the University of Wolverhampton’s Compton Park campus. Redrow Homes is one of several partners involved in the project, which also includes a football academy and a remodelled school.
The first of the 55 new homes will be released for sale this weekend when the doors to a five-bedroom Highgrove show home will be opened to the public.
Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), commented: “Compton Park features some of the largest and most luxurious designs from our sought-after New Heritage Collection, providing executive family homes that are sure to attract affluent buyers to the area. We’re confident that they will be suitably impressed by the Highgrove with its traditional exterior and bright, modern, high specification interior.”
Influenced by the architecture of the Arts and Crafts era, among the Highgrove’s most notable features are the external walls which taper outwards towards the ground.
From the moment visitors enter the property via its arched entrance porch and larger than usual ‘Heritage’-style front door, they will be enthralled by the wide open hallway, sweeping oak staircase and galleried landing. It is a home that oozes style but, at the same time, is warm and inviting.
Pauline adds: “The Highgrove’s size, specification and layout lend themselves to modern family life, with convivial open plan rooms, ample bathrooms and a host of other family-friendly features. The open plan kitchen, breakfast and family area is at its very heart – a warm and welcoming living space where families can work, rest and play together.”
There’s also a separate dining room for more formal entertaining, a lounge, a study and ground-floor cloakroom.
All five bedrooms are doubles and, as well as the family bathroom, there are no fewer than four en-suites.
Raised ceiling heights help emphasise the light and airy nature of the home; while under-floor heating offers plenty of warmth. The kitchen boasts premium quality Silestone work surfaces as standard and is well equipped with integrated top brand name appliances, including oven, microwave and fridge freezer.
With access to the green open spaces of Compton Park, the new homes offer a haven from city life, while also benefitting from being within easy reach of Wolverhampton.
The area is well served by schools, not least the remodelled St Edmunds School which will form part of the redevelopment of the former university campus, making it the ideal choice for buyers with families.
Potential purchasers can sample life at Compton Park with a visit to the Highgrove show home, which opens Saturday January 12.
