Sales success for Redrow in Telford

With 21 sales in three months, buyers have given new Redrow homes in Telford their seal of approval.
The popularity of Trenchwood Gardens is attributed to a winning combination of the location, high specification, choice and help to buy.
The good news for those hoping to move to the development is that there are still plenty of opportunities to purchase one of the stylish new homes. Plus with additional funding now available under the FirstBuy scheme, would-be homeowners could find that stepping onto the property ladder is easier than they anticipated.
Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), commented: “We’ve achieved a fantastic sales rate of seven a month at Trenchwood Gardens in the last quarter, making it our best selling development in the Midlands. People simply love our New Heritage Collection homes as they ooze the traditional character of ‘period’ properties, but with the style and convenience of being brand new. They’re easy to manage, efficient to run and boast a specification that’s hard to beat and almost certainly unrivalled on the second hand market.”
Trenchwood Gardens offers a good mix of properties, ranging from two-bedroom starter homes to four-bedroom detached homes that are ideal for growing families.
They all enjoy a high specification as standard. Kitchens are well equipped with integrated top brand name appliances such as oven, hob, microwave and fridge freezer; while bathrooms and en-suites enjoy quality fixtures and fittings.
The choice of homes is matched by the incentives available to help get people moving including FirstBuy, NewBuy, part exchange and Mastermove.
“FirstBuy reduces the cost of setting up home as it offers first time buyers the chance to take out an equity loan for up to 20% of the purchase price for up to 10 years. Plus those who use FirstBuy to step onto the property ladder could find they only need a 4% deposit,” Pauline explained.
To be eligible for FirstBuy customers must have an annual household income of less than £60,000.
Alternatively, purchasers could reduce the amount of deposit required by buying under the NewBuy initiative. The Government-backed scheme offers people the chance to by a new home with a 95% mortgage.
Help is also available for homeowners in the shape of part exchange or Mastermove. With part exchange Redrow will accept the customer’s home as part payment for a new one; while Mastermove enlists a tried and trusted local agent to sell the client’s property.
Located in Sommerfield Road, Trenchwood Gardens is just a short journey away from a wealth of amenities and attractions in Telford town centre. With the M54 within easy reach, along with Oakengates railway station, the homes are well placed as a base for commuters and have attracted buyers from Birmingham and Wolverhampton.
