Taylor Wimpey’s forthcoming Swallows Heritage development will offer a range of property for sale in Coventry on Jaguar’s former Brown’s Lane site.

A stunning development of new homes for sale in Coventry, named in honour of the city’s rich motoring heritage, is set to be launched soon by leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey.

Swallows Heritage will be an exclusive collection of 30 high-quality houses for sale in Coventry located at Brown’s Lane, a site which formerly belonged to sports and luxury car manufacturer Jaguar.

Roger Northam, Managing Director of Taylor Wimpey Midlands, says: “We appreciate the historic importance of this site, and so to reflect this, our new development of properties to buy in Coventry is named after Jaguar’s origins as the Swallow Sidecar Company.

“With its beautifully designed new houses in Coventry and superb setting within easy reach of Allesley village, Swallows Heritage looks set to revitalise this important site in the city’s manufacturing history.”

A selection of historic cars, many of which were built at Jaguar’s former manufacturing facility at Brown’s Lane where the new Taylor Wimpey Coventry development will soon begin taking shape, is currently on display at the Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon, Warwickshire.

Situated off Brown’s Lane in the historic community of Allesley, the new build homes in Coventry at Swallows Heritage will enjoy an enviable location within easy reach of excellent schools and a fine selection of pubs, restaurants and shops, making it the ideal choice for discerning home-hunters.

The development is located to the north west of Coventry's rejuvenated city centre, which offers a host of shopping, leisure, sports and entertainment opportunities – indeed, the city is six years into a £4 billion capital investment programme.

Junction 3 of the M6 is around five miles from the new homes, while the M40 and M42 are also just a short drive away. Coventry railway station is only two miles away, providing regular services to London Euston in around an hour and to Birmingham in less than 30 minutes.
