Bloor Homes is offering first time buyers the opportunity to buy a new three bedroom home at the The Lanterns in Irthlingborough, with stamp duty paid or with the FirstBuy scheme, for a limited period.

Vanessa Macnee, Sales Director of Bloor Homes comments: “First time buyers face considerable costs when purchasing their first property. We wanted to alleviate some of the pressure by paying the stamp duty on their new home, which is worth up to £1,590!”

“If that’s not tempting enough, homeowners can take advantage of the government backed FirstBuy scheme instead! An equity loan of up to 20% of the property price is provided meaning the purchaser only needs to arrange a mortgage for the remainder of the purchase price plus a 5% deposit. To qualify, the household income must be less than £60,000 a year and the applicant must be unable to finance a property in the area where they currently live or work.”

The Bampton housetype is a modern, contemporary three bedroom home, finished to the superb standard for which Bloor is renowned. This well-proportioned home has a fabulous kitchen/diner, with French doors opening out onto the rear garden, a spacious lounge with understairs storage and separate utility and cloakroom. To the first floor the master bedroom benefits from fitted wardrobes and an exceptional ensuite shower room. There are two further bedrooms and a family bathroom. A garage or parking is also included with the Bampton.

Irthlingborough, with its wonderful community spirit, is a town that can provide for everyday needs with a supermarket and local independent shops, while nearby Wellingborough caters for those looking for high street brands. For the sporting enthusiast the stadium is home to a range of facilities and activities and there is a great golf studio and study centre for school children.

Conveniently located midway between London and Birmingham, East Northamptonshire is just 50 minutes from St Pancras by train and has excellent road links, with the A14/45 and M1/M6 providing easy access to many of the major cities.

Prices at The Lanterns start from £132,950 with the Bampton priced from £139,950. For further sales information, visit bloorhomes.com.
