A pair of money-saving incentives is giving first-time buyers a helping hand to secure their ideal place at Taylor Wimpey’s Primrose Gardens development of new homes for sale in Dudley.

Aspiring homeowners in the West Midlands are being offered all the help they need to step on to the property ladder – with the special incentives available at Taylor Wimpey’s Primrose Gardens development of properties for sale in Dudley.

The popular Government-backed FirstBuy initiative means qualifying first-time buyers can secure selected one and two-bedroom apartments and houses in Dudley for just 80% of their full price.

Under this superb scheme, the one-bedroom Plot 5 ‘Berrington’ coach-house apartment in Dudley, priced £84,995, can be purchased for as little as £67,996, including a 5% deposit as low as £4,250, subject to status.

Alternatively, the two-bedroom Plot 8 ‘Woburn’ terraced property in Dudley, priced £126,995, can be secured for a FirstBuy price of just £101,596, including a deposit of as little as £6,350.

Meanwhile, the Government-backed NewBuy scheme enables creditworthy purchasers in a range of circumstances to secure their choice of the properties in Dudley available at Primrose Gardens with a 95% loan-to-value mortgage and a 5% deposit.

Both initiatives offer a perfect solution for first-time buyers who would otherwise struggle to raise enough money for a deposit on their first home.

Elaine Taylor, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “The fabulous FirstBuy incentive and the NewBuy 95% mortgage scheme are helping first-time buyers to step on to the property ladder much sooner than they might have otherwise thought possible.

“However, property-seekers hoping to secure their ideal first home using either scheme at Primrose Gardens should act quickly – before someone else beats them to it!”

The ‘Berrington‘ coach-house apartment features an open-plan kitchen/dining/living room, a well-proportioned master bedroom and a main bathroom, with a garage and two allocated parking spaces outside.

Meanwhile, the ‘Woburn’ starter home boasts a spacious living/dining room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, plus a kitchen and guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway, while two double bedrooms and a bathroom are located upstairs, with two allocated parking spaces outside.

FirstBuy works through a joint loan of 20% from the Homes and Communities Agency and Taylor Wimpey, which is repayable at the end of the 25-year mortgage term or when the property is sold. To be eligible, purchasers must be first-time buyers and their total household earnings should be less than £60,000.

Located off Northfield Road, the new homes at Primrose Gardens enjoy a peaceful waterside location by the Dudley Canal in the established residential area of Netherton, within walking distance of local shops and supermarkets pubs and restaurants, plus two small theatres and a cinema.

Football pitches, a play area and rose garden are found at nearby Netherton Park, and families will appreciate the good choice of nursery, primary and secondary schools located near the new homes.

Meanwhile, the extensive selection of shops, restaurants and entertainment venues at the Merry Hill Shopping Centre are just two miles away, as is Dudley town centre.

The new homes enjoy a well-connected location for commuters, with a choice of train stations within walking distance – at Old Hill and Cradley Heath – and providing services into Birmingham New Street in just over 30 minutes. Junction 2 of the M5 motorway is just 3.5 miles away, with quick access to road links including the M42 and M6 for the Midlands and beyond.

To get a helping hand onto the property ladder at Primrose Gardens, first-time buyers should visit the Sales and Marketing Suite, located off Northfield Road, Netherton, and open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5pm. Alternatively, log on to taylorwimpey.co.uk/westmids.
