Experts stand by for special event at Glevum Court

Moving to a brand new home at one of Gloucester’s most sought-after developments is about to be made even easier, thanks to a special event organised by Barratt.

To mark the official opening of Glevum Court in Barton Street the developer is hosting a meet the experts event on Saturday 23 February where a team will be standing by to offer advice on all aspects of the buying process.

“Whatever your circumstances – buying your first home or moving further up the ladder – there are often challenges to overcome. And we are here to help,” said Barratt sales director Andrea Pilgrim.

“We know it can seem near impossible for first time buyers to secure the finances required to own their chosen home. And that is why we offer a number of schemes designed to help – including NewBuy.”

Visitors to the brand new development will learn more about NewBuy which has seen the return of 95 per cent mortgages for those buying a new home.

Interest in the scheme is being driven by the dramatically reduced deposit needed to buy a new home, giving creditworthy buyers the best opportunity for five years to get onto the housing ladder.

“And, for those moving up to a larger home here at Glevum Court, our part exchange scheme can make all the difference,” said Andrea.

Part exchange removes all the uncertainty associated with a move. Barratt is a guaranteed cash buyer – so there is no chain, no last-minute price haggling and no hidden costs and people can stay in their old property until their new home is ready.

“Visitors to our special event on February 16 will be treated to all the information they need to help them buy their dream home at Glevum Court –where we will be offering two, three and four bedroom homes available,” said Andrea.

Glevum Court is situated just over a mile away from the city centre of Gloucester, offering fantastic leisure and shopping amenities as well as great places to eat.

The M5 motorway is just six miles away and Gloucester railway station is just over a mile away offering frequent journeys to Bristol and London Paddington.
