Raise a glass to your mother with a Mummy Mojito

Forget flowers and, yawn, chocolates this Mother’s Day. Why not treat your Mummy to something she will really appreciate this Sunday? Nothing says ‘I love you, Mum’ quite like a bespoke chocolate Mojito.

Jack Williams, the Head Mixologist for cocktail specialists Late Night London, has kindly shared with us what he will be creating for his Mum this Sunday.

Jack says, “This is the perfect treat for Mother’s day. Just bruise the mint sprig and put in the bottom of the glass with the rum, chocolate liqueur and half and half. Then add the sugar syrup and lime juice to the mix, add some crushed ice and give it a stir. Top with a little more crushed ice, dash of soda on top and serve with a sprinkle of chocolate flakes!”

You Will Need: 

25ml Bacardi Superior Rum 
25ml Mozart dark chocolate liqueur 
A sprig of mint 
10ml lime juice 
20ml sugar syrup 
25ml ½ & ½ (single cream and milk mixed together) 
30ml soda
