With just seven properties still available, buyers are being urged to act fast if they want to make a move to Wheatley Chase in Halifax.

As the popular Redrow development nears sell out, would-be home owners could fear they’ll miss out on one of the stylish new homes. But the good news is there are incentives available to help buyers step on or up the property ladder.

And thanks to NewBuy they could find they only need a relatively small deposit of 5%.

Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), commented: “Our Wheatley Chase development has transformed the site of the former Sykes Mill into somewhere people really want to live. They love how we’ve created traditional looking homes with stone finishes in keeping with the area, but with bright interiors that meet the demands of modern living. It’s a combination that’s proved immensely popular and with such limited availability those who want to move here could find they’ve left it too late.”

The final properties include a two-bedroom apartment and three-bedroom homes in a choice of styles.

Prices start from as little as £89,950 and with NewBuy a deposit of just £4,498 could be enough to snap up the apartment.

“NewBuy is a great way for those who perhaps don’t have hefty savings or substantial equity in their current home as it enables them to buy a brand new home with a 5% deposit and 95% mortgage,” Patsy explains.

“Or those who have a house to sell you could benefit from our Mastermove service. We’ll enlist a tried and trusted local agent to market it for them. We’ll monitor their activity and even pay their fees when the deal is complete, leaving the customer free to focus on building a future in their brand new home.”

Like all new Redrow homes, the properties at Wheatley Chase enjoy a high specification as standard. Kitchens are well equipped with integrated top brand name appliances including oven, hob, microwave and fridge freezer; while bathrooms and en-suites feature quality fixtures and fittings, with a tile range exclusive to Redrow.

Located on Keighley Road, the development is only a mile from Halifax town centre. The area boasts good local amenities including a supermarket, post office and doctors’ surgery and is well served by schools.

To be in with a chance of purchasing one of the final homes available at Wheatley Chase, visit the sales office open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5.30pm.
