London Marathon packages at tiny prices

The London Marathon, recognised last year as the world's largest, returns to the streets of the capital this April.  In the build-up to the event, hotels across London are offering great deals on pre-race accommodation, with prices starting from £119 per room, taking some of the stress out of preparing for the big day.

All packages are based on two people sharing a standard double or twin room and are available from 19 to 21 April 2013.

Holiday Inn London Heathrow - £119 per room (overnight package)

As the closest hotel to Heathrow Airport, the Holiday Inn London Heathrow is a great choice for runners who will be flying into the capital for the race.  With prices starting from £119 per room, the package includes accommodation, a specially designed nutritional breakfast before the race and coach transportation from the hotel to the start line.

Crowne Plaza London Docklands - £359 per room (two-night package)
