Located on the exclusive western side of St Mawes in Cornwall, and close to Henry VIII’s famous castle, is Fiddler’s Green, a contemporary coastal bolthole featuring magnificent panoramic sea views.

Available through Cornwalls Cottages, a week’s stay at Fiddler’s Green costs £1119 per week (a saving of £300) until 24th May and then £1699 per week (a saving of £200) from 31st May until 5th July.

Guests are met with the unrivalled vistas from the moment of arrival where a sweeping driveway drops from the road towards the house and reveals the dramatic views of the bay beyond.

The southerly aspect and grandstand scenes can be enjoyed from every room in the house as well as the first floor balcony and lower level veranda.

Set out in reverse level style, the house is tastefully decorated throughout with nautical colours and comfy furnishings and provides light and spacious accommodation for up to 10 guests, including young children.

The hub of any house, the fully fitted kitchen provides guests with plenty of space to entertain with its range of modern appliances, granite worktops, kitchen island and a breakfast room with large windows overlooking the bay. A separate utility room is fitted with a fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble drier.

A cosy sitting room adjoins the kitchen, perfect to enjoy morning coffee with the papers, with access to the main sitting room where light floods in through large French windows that lead out onto the balcony.

The master double bedroom also has access to the balcony, as well as having its own shower room. The double and twin rooms both have en suite shower rooms and the triple room, which can be set up with an extra bed, has an en suite bathroom with separate shower.

Outside, follow the steps through the garden for a short cut into the village, with its range of restaurants and pubs serving fresh seafood.
