On your first night, enjoy dinner at one of the restaurants in the unique setting of Porto's riverfront (Riveira), overlooking the Douro and the emblematic Dom Luís Bridge. You can try the traditional Portuguese 'bacalhau' (cod) or some of the most contemporary dishes.

Then get a private tour of the city and a visit to one of the Port Wine Cellars (adegas) in Vila Nova de Gaia, where you will learn about the history behind Porto's most famous and international wine.

Walk two stages of the Portuguese Way to Santiago de Compostela across the tranquil Portuguese countryside: from the outskirts of Porto (Maia) to Fajozes and from Fajozes to Arcos.

In Fajozes, you will be staying in Quinta das Alfaias, a XIX country house surrounded by gardens and orchards.

In Arcos, stay at Quinta Sao Miguel de Arcos, a beautiful XVIII country house in a relaxing rural setting of great beauty, surrounded by its own vineyards.
