Homebuyers have a brand new chance to step on – or up – the property ladder with an affordable deposit at Lawley Farm, Taylor Wimpey’s sought-after development in Telford.

A fresh selection of stunning two, three, four and five-bedroom houses is now available with the new Government Help to Buy shared equity scheme, enabling first-time buyers and existing homeowners to purchase their new home at Lawley Farm for 80% of its full price, including a 5% deposit.

With Help to Buy customers only requiring a 75% loan-to-value mortgage for their new home, they can access a much wider choice of deals from lenders offering more competitive rates with lower monthly repayments.

Anne Wallace, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Many would-be homeowners fear that they will have to spend months – or even years – saving for the hefty deposit required by many mortgage lenders, but Help to Buy offers them an affordable alternative.

“With the new release of properties available under this superb scheme at Lawley Farm already attracting plenty of attention, anyone hoping to secure their new home with a 5% deposit should contact us as soon as possible!”

The Help to Buy shared equity scheme involves a Government loan of 20% and is available on new-build properties up to the value of £600,000. There is no salary cap for purchasers using the scheme.

Under Help to Buy, the five-bedroom ‘Lime’ house, which will be ready for a summer move, can be secured for an 80% shared equity price of £167,996 (full price £209,995) including a 5% deposit as low as £10,500.

Alternatively, the four-bedroom ‘Wells’ terraced house can be secured at Lawley Farm under Help to Buy for an 80% shared equity price of only £131,996 (full price £164,996) including a deposit as low as £8,250.

All homes at Lawley Farm are completed to a high standard specification, including energy efficient central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.

Set on the edge of glorious open countryside, many of the new homes at Lawley Farm enjoy expansive views over Shropshire’s rolling fields. Each of the new properties boasts traditional features characteristic to the region, including full-height sash windows, cottage-style block paving and five-bar gates.

Lawley Farm is close to the exceptional local amenities available in Lawley Village, while a wide range of chain shops and boutique stores, plus restaurants, pubs, bars and leisure facilities are located in nearby Telford.

Commuters will appreciate that Telford is just 2.5 miles away from the development and that the M54 is easily reached for access to Shrewsbury, Birmingham and beyond. Telford Railway station is situated in the town centre for services to Birmingham New Street in 35 minutes.
