Half the new homes being built as part of the careful restoration of the Grade II listed Rusty Shilling Farm House at Up Hatherley, Cheltenham have now been snapped up.

Redcliffe Homes, which is creating the exclusive development of new homes in a variety of designs at Manor Farm says that 18 of the 36 plots have either been sold or earmarked by buyers putting down deposits.

Lorraine Kendrick, Marketing and Sales Manager at Redcliffe Homes said: “The Manor Farm development is attracting interest from all over the country, including London. It shows that there is great demand for quality new homes near Cheltenham.

“Up Hatherley is a very desirable place to live with excellent schools and good transport links to the rest of the region. On top of that Manor Farm has two, three, four and five bedroom homes so there is a wide appeal. As well as transforming some of the existing farm building into elegant places to live we are building a development of exclusive homes in a variety of designs.

“The setting, next to a small park, and the fact that there are no through roads on the development make it an ideal place for families, who can also enjoy the nearby countryside.”

Three of the homes have been reserved through Redcliffe Homes’ helpful schemes Easy Move and Early Bird, which helps buyers secure the property of their choice.

Early Bird enables people to put down a fully-refundable £1,000 deposit on a plot before it is released for sale and Easy Move provides support for people sell their existing home.

Among the remaining 18 properties for sale are the five-bedroom Brockhampton, a one-off design on the development and a number of four-bedroom Andoversford homes, which provide family living accommodation styled to complement the farm buildings that are being renovated.

The showhome and marketing suite at the development, which is open 10 am to 5pm every day except Monday is very busy with enquiries for the remaining 18 properties.
