Buying incentive boost to Burfield Valley

3rd May 2013 Print

When the Chancellor announced a new shared equity scheme to boost the housing market in his budget speech last month, Charles Church was one of the first house builders to respond.

Within hours, Charles Church was receiving hundreds of enquiries about Help to Buy, and the first sales under the scheme are already being processed at Burfield Valley, a stunning development of two, three and four bedroom houses in a variety of styles and finishes in Hailsham, East Sussex.

Charles Church sales teams across the south east have had comprehensive training on Help to Buy, and are fast becoming industry experts on what the scheme means to customers.

In reality, at Burfield Valley Help to Buy means customers can secure a superb four bedroom property for the incredible price of just £263,960 (headline price £329,950). This former showhome, an Arlington style property, is ready to move in with carpets, curtains and light fittings included in the price.

Getting that first foot on the housing ladder can be a daunting step for first time buyers. But it has also been difficult for those people needing to move up to a bigger property, relocate or even downsize.

Jo Richards, Head of Sales and Marketing at Charles Church South East said: “Help to Buy is going to provide a huge boost to the housing market, and it is available to anyone buying a new-build home up to the value of £600,000. All you need is a five per cent deposit.

“The Government will put in up to 20 per centre through an equity shared loan, the remainder will be funded by a repayment mortgage. The loan can be paid back at any time over the next 25 years, or when you sell the home, and there is no interest to pay on this portion for the first five years.”

Other buying incentives available at the Burfield Valley are NewBuy and Part Exchange.

Burfield Valley is a superb development ideally located within walking distance of the historic town of Hailsham. Surrounded by beautiful, rolling landscapes and within easy reach of the coast, Hailsham has a good range of facilities, yet retains the feel of a traditional English market town. There are several cafes, restaurants and twice a month Hailsham Farmers' market sells fresh meat and veg from local producers.

Each home at Burfield Valley has been carefully designed to be in harmony with its surroundings, with interiors making the very best use of light and space and feature individual touches that set a Charles Church home apart from the rest.

The sales office at Burfield Valley is open seven days a week from 10am to 5pm. For more information call in at the development or visit the website at charleschurch.com.
