Come rain or shine, home buyers will be invited to put their wellies on this weekend to view almost ready new homes at Redrow’s luxury Kings Acre development in Crawley Down.

No fewer than four fully furnished show homes are available for viewing – including the newly opened ‘Harrogate’ style unveiled last month - but Redrow also has a number of other properties at different stages of construction.

“The purpose of next Saturday’s event is to let visitors don hard hats and wellies to get a good look at some of the homes that will soon be ready to move into,” said Kerry Jenkins, head of sales for Redrow Homes (South East).

“We’ve been selling these properties off-plan and the four show homes give potential purchasers the chance to appreciate the quality of our build and the specification of our homes. However for some people you just can’t beat having a good look inside the actual property they want to buy so they can fully appreciate the space and layout.”

The ‘Wellies On’ open day will take place on Saturday, May 11 from 10am to 5.30pm. Wellies and hard hats will be supplied.

Among the homes that welly-wearing home hunters can explore are the Richmond and Salisbury, both four-bedroom detached family homes of generous proportions. They’re among the larger executive homes that make up the latest phase of Kings Acre, called The Leas.

The Arts & Crafts inspired Richmond at £629,995 extends over 2,000 sq. ft. and boasts a spacious kitchen, dining and family room at the heart of the home, two en-suites and an integral double garage.

At £519,995 the Salisbury, though slightly smaller, is no less impressive. It also has two en-suites, a double garage and a handy study that could be used as a family room instead. Both properties boast a top-notch specification with stunning fitted kitchen and luxury bathroom fittings.

Kerry added: “The houses being built at the Leas are among the best positioned homes in an already prime location. They’re situated on the rear fringe of the development and some of the homes overlook a scenic area of open space around Bankton House, which gives them a real sense of exclusivity. Coming along to our ‘Wellies On’ weekend will allow potential customers to truly appreciate these factors.”
