BoConcept signature style

smart enthusiasts are destined to feel right at home with the iconic brand’s latest special edition – the smart fortwo BoConcept signature style.
Designed in collaboration with BoConcept, the Danish urban interior design specialist, the striking smart allows its occupants to experience all the comfort, style and individualism of a modern living environment on the move.
Based on the smart fortwo passion (84bhp turbo), the smart fortwo BoConcept signature style boasts an elegant exterior that fuses BRABUS details with BoConcept design elements.
The BRABUS enhancements include a front spoiler, side skirts, Xclusive headlights and the BRABUS sports package that consists of BRABUS sports exhaust system, BRABUS Monoblock VII alloy wheels and sports suspension.
Body panels are finished in eye-catching matt crystal white – the finish a nod to exclusive matt surfaces found in unique home interiors – and the contrasting colour is matt oriental brown metallic. The dark shade references the wood colours of the furniture world and features on the tridion cell, door mirror caps and alloy wheels. Distinctive smart light lemon striping sets off the mirror caps and alloy wheels, while the soft top of the cabrio is brown. The coupé version benefits from a panoramic roof.
The classy appearance of the smart fortwo BoConcept signature style is mirrored in its interior.
The cabin’s seats, door trims, dashboard and BRABUS three-spoke steering wheel are all covered in sumptuous tobacco brown leather. As on the exterior, there is smart light lemon detailing and a grey felt material has also been woven into parts of the trim for added contrast. BoConcept lettering is visible on the black velour floormats and the seats. The oak insert on the gearknob – the first time wood has been used in a smart – completes the interior.
A high level of standard equipment includes a highline multimedia/navigation system with 6.5-inch touch-screen, Bluetooth, AUX/USB and iPod interface and a CD/DVD player, electric power steering, automatic air conditioning, ambient lighting, heated seats and LED day time running lights.
Gary Savage, Managing Director, Mercedes-Benz Cars said: “smart has always been a welcoming and friendly environment for its owners. The look and style of this special edition make the fortwo more inviting than ever. Working with BoConcept has created the most stylish of smarts and one that really does offer plenty of home comforts.”
The smart fortwo BoConcept signature style is available to order from smart retailers.  On-the-road pricing starts from £22,135 for the coupé and £24,515 for the cabrio.
The smartville collection
As part of the partnership between smart and BoConcept, the new smartville collection of furniture and accessories has also been created. Reflecting the colour scheme and materials of the smart fortwo BoConcept signature style, the smartville collection includes a modular sofa that at 2.69 metres is exactly the same length as a smart fortwo and a table clock modelled on the clock of the smart fortwo. The collection is available on line at and in BoConcept stores.
