Post Office ‘Quick Quote' home insurance service

Post Office has introduced a ‘Quick Quote and Buy' home insurance service reducing the time it takes get a quote.  In branch Financial Specialists will be on hand to guide customers through the process and provide a quote within two minutes.  
 
‘Quick Quote and Buy' has been designed with the customer in mind and will revolutionise the way home insurance is sold through the Post Office. Customers will be able to take advantage of the new service in branch making it simpler, easier and faster to buy a policy.
 
Once a home insurance quote has been completed, documents are printed immediately providing customers with instant access to review the policy and ensure they have the right cover in place.
 
Paul Havenhand, Head of Insurance at Post Office, said: "We regularly review our systems and processes with the aim of making life easier for our customers. The introduction of ‘Quick Quote and Buy' will save our insurance customers time as well as offering flexibility, convenience and a more efficient way of buying home insurance through the Post Office."
 
The Post Office has over 300 Financial Specialists in branch offering customers advice and assistance when choosing financial services products from insurance through to credit cards and mortgages. 
 
The ‘Quick Quote and Buy' service has been developed in conjunction with Junction the home and motor insurance provider for Post Office. Post Office has over 1 million general insurance customers and this latest branch development is part of a growth drive for Post Office's financial products.
