Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire is reporting a surge in sales at its Crest Park development in Bradford thanks to the new government-backed Help to Buy iniative.

The development was the first in the country to secure a Help to Buy reservation for Taylor Wimpey when the scheme launched in April.

Since then, the team at Crest Park has witnessed a sharp increase in enquiuries and helped many further eligible buyers to secure brand new homes with a five per cent deposit.

Anne Bagshaw, sales and marketing director, Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire said: “Crest Park is a delightful development that has something to offer buyers at every point of the property ladder. From couples and first-time buyers to families seeking spacious executive homes, the availability of Help to Buy is making it exceptionally easy to secure a stunning, brand-new property at the development.”

Crest Park offers house-hunters an impressive choice of two, three and four bedroom homes with prices ranging from £119,995 to £239,995.

Through Help to Buy, house-hunters are able to reserve a home worth up to £600,000 with just five per cent deposit. Thanks to a government equity loan of up to 20 per cent, buyers then only require a 75 per cent loan to value mortgage.

Anne concluded: “The quality of the homes and excellent location combine with affordability to make Crest Park an extremely desirable place to live. I would urge anybody interested in the development to act now and arrange an appointment with the sales team while there are still several styles of home to choose from.”
