More than 500 people have registered their interest in new Redrow homes in Northampton.

The first homes at the development, known as Scholars Place in Newport Pagnell Road, Hardingstone will be released for sale this weekend (June 22).

With just 38 homes available for private sales, demand is expected to be high.

Tonia Tyler, head of sales for Redrow Homes (South Midlands), said: “Redrow is an established brand that people in Northamptonshire know and trust. We have a strong reputation for building homes that people really want to live in, which is reflected in the volume of enquiries we’ve had from those who want to buy at Scholars Place. Quite simply we’ve been inundated with calls – the phone has been ringing off the hook!”

Scholars Place will offer a choice of three and four-bedroom detached and semi-detached properties from the sought-after New Heritage Collection.

The homes will have more than a hint of nostalgia in their exterior design, taking inspiration from the architecture of the Arts & Crafts era.

Inside, however, they will boast a high calibre interior specification to meet the needs of modern lifestyles. Kitchens will be well equipped integrated top brand name appliances; while family bathrooms and en-suites will enjoy quality fixtures and fittings.

“Initially we will be selling the properties at Scholars Place ‘off plan’ as we work towards opening show homes. Our friendly sales consultants will be on hand to guide visitors through the floor plans and help match them with the style of property that best suits their lifestyle,” Tonia adds.

“With so many people interested in the homes we would urge buyers to act fast if they want to have their pick of the properties.”

Along with the new homes, Redrow will provide an area of public open space as part of the development. The company will also upgrade to local footpaths.

Scholars Place enjoys a charming village location that’s ideal for commuting to Birmingham or London thanks to easy access to the M1.

There’s a supermarket nearby and the area’s well served by schools, making it perfect for families.

The sales office at Scholars Place opens this Saturday (June 22).
