New homes for multi million pound Jewellery Quarter development

Morris Homes is bringing 105 new homes to Birmingham after planning permission for a second apartment building at its multi million pound development in the city’s vibrant Jewellery Quarter was granted.
The company is investing £24.3million in building the one and two bedroom apartments at The Quarter. This next phase will be available to purchase in Autumn 2013, and interest is high following the success of the first phase of homes.
Morris launched the site in 2011 and the project has seen the company invest heavily in the local community, with facilities including a multi-purpose health centre with GP consulting rooms and a minor surgery facility, a pharmacy and secure underground parking.
Cindy Cade, regional sales director at Morris, said: “The apartments at The Quarter have proven a popular choice with young professionals and investors looking for a contemporary property in a key location in the heart of Birmingham, and this announcement means we can get moving on the next phase of the build.
“The Quarter not only offers high quality properties, but also plays an important role in the development of the area, having brought much needed health care facilities to the local community. We’d urge buyers interested in the coveted apartments to get in touch with the team now to secure their new home.”
Once on sale the apartments at the site will be available with the Government’s Help to Buy scheme, which means buyers can get on to or move up the property ladder using just a five per cent deposit.
The Quarter is ideal for buyers looking for a short 15 minute walk into Birmingham for work and leisure, with quick access to local transport links and amenities including a mix of bars, shops and restaurants.
