Guided walking adventure in the white-washed villages of green Spain

Adagio - the gentle guided walking arm of Ramblers Worldwide Holidays - is offering a one week holiday in the Sierra de Aracena, the greenest part of Andalucia with woods, pastures, rivers and picturesque 'Pueblos Blancos'.

Accommodation is at the four star Aracena Park Hotel on the outskirts of Aracena, just a 10 minute walk from the town centre.  This overlooks the Sierra de Aracena National Park with spectacular views.  Facilities at the hotel include an outdoor pool, restaurant, sauna and fitness facilities, bar, lounge and spa.

Highlights include a visit to Aracena's 'Grutas de las Maravillas' - stunning natural grotto of wonderful subterranean lakes and mineral formations created over the millennia;  sightseeing at the Rio Tinto Mines with a train ride through a fantastic landscape before a guided walk to the original Roman mine;  a nature walk from the hill fortress town of Cartegena to the Finca Montefrio, a local eco-farm offering the chance to sample its produce at a special lunch and a day exploring the 'route of the castles' visiting three small towns and their castles, Zufre, Santa Olalla del Cala and Cala.
