The chase is on for homebuyers in Weedon Bec

Homebuyers face a race against time if they want to secure one of the final properties at Redrow’s popular Harmans Chase development in Weedon Bec.

Less than 18 months since the first homes were released for sale, the development is nearing a sell-out. The majority of the properties are now sold and occupied, with just five homes still available. It means buyers must act fast to avoid disappointment.

Tony Tyler, head of sales for Redrow Homes (South Midlands), says: “Weedon is a village with a real sense of community and good local amenities. It’s the ideal location for our New Heritage Collection of traditional looking homes, which has been borne out in the sales success we have seen at Harmans Chase. As building work has progressed and residents have moved in it’s generated more enquiries from potential purchasers who want to join them. Now with only five homes available, there’s a growing sense of urgency amongst would-be homeowners who are vying for their chance to move here.”

Despite the limited availability, customers can still choose between different property styles with three, four or five bedrooms and prices from £209,950 to £274,950.

For instance they could choose the four-bedroom Kenilworth, priced from £209,950, including carpets, curtains and light fittings. Set out over three floors to maximise the potential of the space available, the Kenilworth is equally well suited to families and those who want more room.

On the ground floor, there’s an open plan kitchen and dining room with a separate lounge plus a utility and a cloakroom. On the first floor are three bedrooms and the family bathroom. For those who don’t need all four bedrooms, one of the rooms could be utilised as a study, toy room or walk in wardrobe depending on the buyer’s needs.

The crowning glory of the Kenilworth is the master bedroom, complete with en-suite. Located on the top floor it offers parents a retreat away from the hustle and bustle of family living or could be used a guest suite.

A range of incentives are available to help get people moving. Help to Buy offers buyers the chance to take out an equity loan for up to 20% of the purchase price, making homeownership more affordable. Alternatively customers may opt to buy with a 95% mortgage through NewBuy.

People who already own a home and are looking to move up, down or sideways on the property ladder may be able to secure a buyer for the property they’re moving from thanks to Redrow’s Mastermove scheme. If they’re trading up, they may even be able to part exchange their old home towards the cost of a new one.

Like those who’ve already made Harmans Chase their home, the purchasers who snap up these last five homes will be able to enjoy easy access to Daventry and Northampton via the A5 and A45; while the M1 motorway is also accessible. Local amenities include shops, schools and pubs, a village hall, sports fields and recreation areas.

To be in with a chance of moving to Harmans Chase, visit the show homes and marketing suite in Harmans Way, open daily from 10am to 5.30pm.
