There’s just one chance for quick-off-the-mark home-hunters looking to move by the end of September to snap up their dream home at Taylor Wimpey’s Willmott Meadow development in Wem, Shropshire.

The spacious five-bedroom Plot 7 ‘Lichfield’ detached house, priced at £299,995 is the final property which will be ready to move into at the development during September, and comes complete with flooring throughout, turf to the rear garden and an upgraded kitchen with appliances and ceramic flooring.

What’s more, it’s available with the Government’s Help to Buy shared equity scheme, enabling first-time buyers and those looking to move home to purchase their new property for 80% of its full price, including a deposit as low as 5%.

Anne Wallace, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Reserving a brand new home now for completion in September means purchasers can relax and enjoy the summer, secure in the knowledge that a stress-free move to their dream home will be the perfect antidote to the post-holiday blues!

“With just one September plot at Willmott Meadow and the fantastic Help to Buy scheme available, I’d urge anyone hoping to snap up one of these beautiful properties to act now – or risk missing out!”

Under Help to Buy, a Government loan of up to 20% is provided to help eligible customers purchase any new-build property up to the value of £600,000. There is no salary cap for customers using the scheme and it is available to both first-time buyers and those with a property to sell.

With a loan-to-value mortgage of 75% all that’s required, purchasers can access a wider range of more competitive mortgage deals from lenders. Full details of the scheme are available from the Sales Executive.

The impressive five-bedroom ‘Lichfield’ – now available to visit as a viewhome at Willmott Meadow – benefits from a large lounge opening through French doors to the private rear garden, a kitchen/breakfast room, a separate dining room, a utility room and a guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the landing leads to two en-suite double bedrooms, three further bedrooms and a family bathroom, with an integral double garage and driveway parking located outside.

Like all new homes at the development, the ‘Lichfield’ is completed to a high standard specification, including central heating, double glazing and fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.

Enjoying an enviable location on the northern fringes of the pretty market town of Wem, Willmott Meadow lies on the edge of picturesque open countryside.

Selected homes at this leafy development benefit from views of the rolling Shropshire hills, while care has been taken to retain mature trees and hedgerows at the development.

Parents will appreciate that Willmott Meadow is a short distance from the well-regarded St Peter’s Primary School, while secondary education is provided at Thomas Adams School, which was rated Outstanding in its last Ofsted report.
Wem railway station offers direct services to Shrewsbury and Crewe, for connections to the north-west, Birmingham and London, while the M6 is only 25 miles away.

To find out more about moving into a brand new home this September with Help to Buy at Willmott Meadow, property-seekers should visit the Sales Centre, located off Whitchurch Road, Wem, and open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5pm.
