The Heritage Motor Centre is to host a special event for children specifically aged 5 & under on Thursday 5 September from 10.30am - 3.30pm. Younger visitors get in for free and can have a go in a traditional vintage pedal car, enjoy ‘story time’ with an enchanting story teller, make and paint their own car and go on a child friendly family tour.

The vintage pedal cars are situated outside so are weather permitting. The story telling will take place at 10:30am, 11:00am, 11:30am, 12:00pm, 13:30pm & 14:00pm. The family tour is available at 10:45am & 13:45pm. In addition there is also a special catering offer – a FREE cup of tea or coffee for the accompanying adult for every child’s lunch box bought. Visitors must specify they are on the under 5's day.

Emma Rawlinson, Family and Lifelong Learning Officer at the Heritage Motor Centre stated “We’re delighted to be offering this free event for children aged 5 and under. We have a day full of special activities for children and their parents to enjoy whatever the weather!”

Under 5’s are always welcome FREE of charge at the Heritage Motor Centre but there is a charge for accompanying adults at the normal Museum entry price of £12. This can be GiftAided giving visitors a 12 month pass, so they can return again and again for our other events. Return Gift Aid tickets are welcomed & Tesco clubcard vouchers are also accepted.
