Female hair loss tackled ahead of autumn party season

28th August 2013 Print

With autumn fast approaching it is time for a lot of people to start gearing up for the party season. The team at Hair Solved are excited about all the great events brought by the transition from summer to autumn and they are encouraging all women to feel the same - even if they are affected by hair loss.

Hair loss is a more prevalent issue among women than most people are aware. Studies have suggested that mid-frontal hair loss affects 57% of women and 73.5% of men aged 80 or over, demonstrating that the condition cannot be filed away as a male problem.

However, for many people, the signs of hair loss appear long before old age due to a variety of triggers. In some cases, the cause of hair loss remains unknown to the sufferer, but there are a number of conditions that are recognised as leading to hair loss.

Traction alopecia, telogen effluvium, mycotic infections, alopecia areata, hypothyroidism and sebaceous cysts, pregnancy, trichotillomania and so on have all been cited as causes of hair loss - conditions that may be brought about by illness, stress, hormonal changes, certain drugs and medications and even behaviour (significant damage can be caused to hair follicles by particular hair styles and treatments).

Since autumn is traditionally something of a party season, it's only natural that those concerned about hair loss and bald patches should feel the strain towards the end of the summer.

The team at Hair Solved is encouraging women to seek treatment that can reduce the appearance of hair loss symptoms so they can enjoy the run-up to the party season with greater confidence and a sense of real excitement.

The team is responsible for a range of non-surgical hair integration treatments developed specifically to transform the appearance of even the most severe cases.
