Showhomes opening is music to buyers’ ears
A brass quintet will herald the eagerly awaited opening of two showhomes in Steeton this Sunday (September 8).
Professional musicians will help Redrow make a song and dance at the launch event at Manor Fields in Thornhill Road, where visitors will also be treated to ice creams from a traditional ice cream bike reminiscent of yesteryear.
Sunday’s event will be the first chance buyers have had to see inside showhomes at Manor Fields and appreciate the layouts, quality and finish of the properties. Up until now buyers have had to rely on floor plans or visit other Redrow developments to view showhomes. The day will also be an opportunity for Redrow to celebrate the ‘off plan’ success of the development and positive signs of housing market recovery.
Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), says: “There’s growing consumer confidence in the housing market with various banks, analysts and industry bodies pointing to the affordability of mortgages, low interest rates and Help to Buy as the main reasons. This is born out in the number of ‘off plan’ sales we have secured at Manor Fields. We also have many potential purchasers who have been eagerly awaiting the opening of the showhomes before making a commitment. To thank them for their patience we wanted to make an occasion of the launch with treats for their senses including music from a brass quintet and delicious ice creams.”
Current availability at Manor Fields includes three and four-bedroom homes from the sought-after Heritage Collection, with prices from £210,950.
Both the Stratford and Cambridge showhomes have four bedrooms.
The Stratford, with its lap larch board canopy with decorative gallows bracket over the entrance, is a prime example of how Redrow’s designs are influenced by the architecture of the Arts & Crafts era. Step inside and behind its traditional exterior, it’s bright and modern.
To the ground floor, there’s a lounge to the front, combined kitchen and dining room to the rear, plus a laundry and cloakroom. Upstairs, the master bedroom benefits from an en-suite, with the remaining three bedrooms sharing the family bathroom.
Offering 1,382 square feet of living space, the Cambridge is the larger of the two showhomes. At its heart, and spanning the width of the property, is the open plan kitchen, dining area and family room. This inviting, sociable space is complemented by the separate lounge, ideal for quieter, more relaxed moments.
Located between Keighley and Skipton, the village of Steeton is steeped in tradition with a number of local shops including a butcher. The area’s well served by schools and has a good sense of community with lots of active clubs and groups.
