BTCC drivers confirmed for TRAX 2013!
The Ultimate Performance Car Event: TRAX is happening this Sunday 8th September at Silverstone Circuit and it’s lined up to be one of the best yet! With a packed schedule of high octane action on track and in the Live Action Arena, the season finale of the Adrian Flux Autoseries is welcoming some well known names and championships from the motorsport world.
New for 2013 Battle of the Pro’s is taking place throughout the day in the Live Action Arena and has attracted BTCC stars including Tom Onslow-Cole, Aron Smith and Ollie Jackson! Plus, up and coming talent from the British Rally Championship such as Elfyn Evans, Aaron McClure, and James Grint plan to take to the arena. Mix these with experienced Time Attack, Drift, stunt and track drivers and we really are in for a battle! The professionals will all drive a technical handling course in a Westfield, a Renault Clio RS and a car of their choice. The aim is to try and get the lowest combined time of the day in all three vehicles to win the competition, but which Pro will have what it takes?
Headlining the track action on the famous Silverstone Tarmac this year is a professional round of Time Attack featuring Club Pro, Club Pro 2WD, Pro 2WD and Pro classes. The drivers will all battle it out against the clock to get the fastest time on the testing National Circuit. So far this year, all four Pro Classes have been hard fought with no one driver running away with the wins, in fact no one driver has won more than two rounds which clearly shows how close its going to be at the weekend!
Not only will Time Attack be tearing it up on track but TRAX is also welcoming back the British Drift Championship who will be putting on four awesome drift demos on the circuit!
