Land acquired for new homes in Northamptonshire

Barratt Homes Northampton are this month launching two new sites in Northamptonshire, in Rushden and Brixworth, creating hundreds of jobs for local people.

The homebuilder will begin work on Goulsbra Road in Rushden during week commencing Monday 9th September and on Northampton Road in Brixworth within the following two weeks. Some 400 jobs will be created in helping to build and sell the new homes.

The land acquired in Rushden is for a new development named Lancaster Manor where Barratt Homes will build a range of 73 two, three and four bedroom homes. The first residents could move into the new homes in 2014.

The new development in Brixworth is called Saxon Rise and will comprise 150 two, three, four and five bedroom homes, with construction due to commence in mid September. The first homes are expected to be ready to move into in February 2014.

These new developments are two of 10 new projects that the Northampton-based homebuilder plans to start work on over the next 12 months and which demonstrate its commitment to the county

Barratt Homes Northampton was merited the maximum five star rating in this year’s HBF Customer Satisfaction Survey, in which consumers are asked if they are satisfied with the quality of their new home and whether they would recommend their builder to a friend.
