Showhomes opening in Deanshanger

Eight would-be home owners have used their imagination to purchase a new home at Becket Manor, in Deanshanger ‘off plan’.

Their willingness to commit based on plans and images alone is indicative of the growing consumer confidence being reported by high street lenders, surveyors and other industry experts.

Several more potential purchasers are waiting in the wings and it’s hoped that the unveiling of two new fully furnished showhomes this weekend (Sep 21/22) will be all it takes for them to seal the deal.

Tonia Tyler, head of sales for Redrow Homes (South Midlands), says: “There’s growing consumer confidence in the housing market with various banks, analysts and industry bodies pointing to the affordability of mortgages, low interest rates and Help to Buy as the main reasons. The eight ‘off plan’ sales we have secured at Becket Manor certainly support claims that the housing market now appears to be ‘on the up’. We also have many potential purchasers who have been eagerly awaiting the opening of our two new showhomes before making a commitment.”

The property designs chosen to promote Redrow’s 44 new homes at Becket Manor are the Passenham and the Kingsbrook.

The five-bedroom Passenham is a substantial family home, with versatile accommodation set out over three floors. Offering 1,846 square feet of living space, it’s very much designed for modern family life.

To the ground floor, there’s an expansive combined kitchen, dining area and family room, complemented by a separate lounge. It also enjoys the convenience of a downstairs cloakroom and a handy utility to keep the washer and dryer out of the kitchen.

On the first floor, there are three bedrooms including the master bedroom with en-suite and dressing room, plus the family bathroom. The remaining two bedrooms are on the top floor, with a shared shower room, ideal for giving teenagers or grown-up children still living at home the privacy they crave.

At the heart of the four-bedroom Kingsbrook - and spanning the width of the property - is the open plan kitchen, dining area and family room. This inviting, sociable space is complemented by the separate lounge, ideal for quieter, more relaxed moments.

These two properties, which have been dressed by professional interior designers, are the perfect showcase for a range of four and five-bedroom detached homes currently priced from £332,950 to £399,950. The showhomes also demonstrate the quality and attention to detail in the finish of Redrow’s homes and the high specification.

Close to the Grand Union Canal, the new homes enjoy a quiet setting in the Northamptonshire village of Deanshanger – less than eight miles north west of Milton Keynes and around 15 miles south of Northampton.

With schools for all ages nearby, Becket Manor is ideal for those with families.
