A stunning collection of new family homes, located on the fringes of Harlow Town Park – one of the largest town parks in Britain, will be launched on Saturday 28th September.

Arbour Mews is an exclusive development of nine spacious family homes from Kier Homes. The four and five-bedroom properties in School Lane, offer open-plan living through a ground floor family area combined with kitchen area, which features granite worktops and modern appliances. There are utility rooms and cloakrooms on the ground floors and en suites to the master bedrooms in addition to family bathrooms.

Jane Johnson, regional sales and marketing manager with Kier Homes, said: “I am delighted to be launching this new development. It is the only one of its type, offering new homes of this size, in Harlow.

“These homes stand out for offering flexible living. Some properties come with a second floor, which has two bedrooms and en suite, making it ideal for older children, or as a guest suite. The fifth bedroom of some properties could also be used as a study.”

The 164 acres of the adjoining Harlow Town Park bring all the benefits of country life to the doorstep. Alongside the Park’s paddling pool, adventure playground, skate park and bandstand, leisurely strolls through the Park and on to Harlow Marshes and Meadows reveal a mosaic of habitats including woodland, wetland and reedbeds, which support a rich diversity of wildlife.

A short walk across the park also leads to Harlow Town Station, where the journey to London Liverpool Street takes approximately 35 minutes. There are excellent road connections, with junction 7 of the M11, with its fast access to the M25, only four miles away. Stansted Airport is around 20 minutes away by car, or 18 minutes by direct Skytrain service from Harlow Town Station.

Harlow is ideal for families, offering a wide choice of schools for all ages, including the secondary school Passmores Academy, which was described as ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted. Harlow College is a successful college offering excellent education through its sixth form, vocational and work-based training.

A wealth of leisure activities are available in Harlow, through gyms and fitness clubs as well as tennis clubs and golf clubs. A highlight of the sports scene is the state-of-the-art Leisurezone complex, including gym, swimming pool, sports arena and spa, where Olympic athletes trained in the run-up to London 2012.

The town, with its striking sculptures, including works by Barbara Hepworth, Henry Moore and August Rodin, is acclaimed for its thriving arts scene. Entertainment for all the family can be found on the programmes of the Harlow Playhouse and Harlow Cineworld.

The vibrant town is home to the Harvey Centre and the Water Gardens shopping centre, which showcase high street stores as well as independent retailers. It also has an abundant range of bars, cafés and restaurants catering for all tastes.

Prices are from £479,995 for a four-bedroom property. Kier Homes is offering part exchange on homes at Arbour Mews, enabling eligible buyers to avoid the delay sometimes caused by being part of a chain when selling their old home.
