The ERC-free tracker products are the latest addition to Santander's mortgage range under-pinned by its core value ‘FREEDOM'.  The range includes products with a choice of features including no booking fees, no ERC, overpayment options and cash-back giving customers the FREEDOM to choose the right mortgage to meet their needs.

Phil Cliff, Director of Santander Mortgages, said:  "As one of the UK's leading lenders, we want to give our customers the freedom to choose a mortgage that has features to meet their needs now and in the future. Extending our ERC-free proposition to our 2 year tracker range reinforces our new ERC-free product range, giving customers the flexibility to switch to another mortgage product more suited to their needs, when the time is right for them. And in addition to a great mortgage rate, all 1|2|3 Current Account customers also benefit from 1% cashback on their Santander direct debit mortgage payments too - whatever Santander mortgage they have.

"Santander wants to be the lender of choice for UK homebuyers. By offering a range of flexible, value-for-money products suited to individual customers' changing needs we can support homebuyers with one of life's biggest expenses, helping them get the mortgage product that's right for them."

In addition to the freedom to overpay or switch their mortgage, Santander's mortgage range also offers a wide variety of features that give customers the freedom to choose what is most important to them, be it the ability to avoid upfront booking fees or save on standard valuation costs. The majority of Santander's fixed mortgage products come with a Free Valuation and £250 Cashback for those buying a new home and a Free Valuation and £250 Cashback or Free Legals for those re-mortgaging.

Santander's renewed focus on its core high street mortgage offering coincides with the launch of the bank's latest television advertising campaign supporting the award-winning 1|2|3 Current Account and 123 Credit Card products as well as the new ‘FREEDOM' proposition. The latest television adverts feature Santander's brand ambassadors Jenson Button, Rory McIIroy and Jessica Ennis-Hill and will broadcast on primetime television throughout the autumn. The dedicated mortgage TV advert features Jenson Button marking a return for Santander mortgages after six years off screen.
