Discerning house-hunters can take their pick from a new selection of superb homes now on sale at Taylor Wimpey’s sought-after Kings Copse development in Gloucester.

This fresh collection of properties includes a range of spacious detached homes and a number of new house types available to reserve for the very first time at the development.

Charlie Joseph, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We are unveiling a brand new selection of homes, including some stunning new house designs, at Kings Copse that we are sure will prove incredibly popular with prospective purchasers.

“Even if they have visited the development before, I would urge house-hunters to come and see the new range of homes now on sale – I’m certain they’ll be impressed by what we have to offer.”

The new selection of properties available at Kings Copse includes two-bedroom apartments from just £116,000, three-bedroom houses starting from £155,000, four-bedroom homes from £220,000 and five-bedroom properties from £240,000.

The four-bedroom ‘Radford’ detached house, for example, is priced from £225,000 and features a spacious open-plan living/dining/kitchen/breakfast room and a guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the landing leads to an en-suite master bedroom, three further bedrooms and a main bathroom, while outside there’s a private rear garden, a garage and allocated parking.

The Government’s new Help To Buy shared equity scheme is available at Kings Copse, which enables eligible first-time buyers and existing homeowners to secure their new home for 80% of its full price, including a deposit as low as 5%.

Help to Buy involves a Government loan of up to 20% and is available on new-build properties up to the value of £600,000. There is no salary cap for homebuyers taking advantage of the scheme.

Kings Copse is located in Kingsway Village, which lies on the banks of the River Severn and is three miles south of the centre of Gloucester.

The local area features a shopping parade including a Tesco Express, while Quedgeley, two miles away, boasts a wide range of convenience stores and Gloucester city centre has an extensive selection of shops, pubs and restaurants.

Parents will appreciate that there is a choice of primary schools close to the development, including Kingsway Primary School, rated ‘good’ by Ofsted, and the newly-opened Waterwells Primary Academy. Secondary schools can also be found on the development.

For days out, families will enjoy the nearby Robinswood Hill Country Park, the National Birds of Prey Centre and Gloucester Cathedral, where a number of scenes for the Harry Potter films were shot.

The development is conveniently positioned just off the A38 and commuters will appreciate that junction 12 of the M5 is only 10 minutes away. Gloucester railway station is five miles from home for direct services to Cardiff and London Paddington.
