Two stunning new showhomes decorated in contrasting themes of classic glamour and modern style are giving property-seekers a taste of the lifestyle on offer at Taylor Wimpey’s new Countess Manor development in Moulton, Northampton.

A specialist team of interior designers have gone all out to bring out the best of the ‘Bramford’ and ‘Wilton’ designs, using the opposing concepts of old and new to bring the properties to life.

Mariana Knight, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Our expert interior design team has really pulled out all the stops to create two exceptional showhomes at Countess Manor.

“A visit to these properties will not only thrill and inspire property-seekers, it will give them a unique insight into the lifestyle they could be looking forward to at this desirable new development.”

The ‘Bramford’ is a four-bedroom detached property which has been given a vintage, opulent look, with luxury wallpaper, fabrics and materials throughout.

The entrance hall opens through to a spacious lounge which is decorated in light-coloured wood panelling with linen-covered sofas, as well as a smart dining room with a striking chandelier suspended over the table.

The wood panelling continues throughout the kitchen, where bar stools line the worktop and a comfortable sofa and armchair provide an ideal setting for socialising during mealtimes and cooking, while also offering plenty of space for entertaining.

Luxury living is the theme of the master bedroom, where a large bed with a stool at its foot provides a well-planned space for dressing, while the guest bedroom is light and airy thanks to the use of classic white and cream tones.

The two additional bedrooms have been designed to suit two different children. The first vintage-look room includes a sewing machine and materials, as well as quaint fabric bunting, and will appeal to fans of old-fashioned crafts.

The second room is a dream bedroom for a child who loves watersports – the wall is dominated by a big mural of a surfer’s silhouette.

Meanwhile, the five-bedroom ‘Wilton’ detached house has a stylish, modern feel. Off the entrance hall is a study, which has been designed to give a nod to Northampton’s history of shoe production, and features a host of books about shoe design and various items of footwear.

The lounge boasts a huge corner group sofa, modern artwork and subtle flashes of a pink colour scheme. A huge cityscape fills the wall in the kitchen/dining room, with modern features including a chrome dining table, Perspex chairs and discreet uses of an acid yellow colour scheme.

Upstairs, a bedroom which could be used as the master has been decked out in dark shimmering decor. A striking black chandelier hangs over the bed, while the room boasts a walk-in dressing area and mirrored wardrobes.

Two further bedrooms on the first-floor will be a must-see for children. The first is designed to suit a child who is a budding photographer, while the second would be a dream base for any child who loves dance. This elaborate room boasts mirrored wall, a dance bar and a bed with a headboard which is lit from underneath.

On the top floor, two well-proportioned bedrooms enjoy the luxury of seclusion, and the interior design team have created a space fit for a Hollywood movie star. The rooms have been themed around the Academy Awards, with the famous Oscar statue painted onto the wall in one cinema-themed bedroom, while the other is styled as if the householders have just been getting ready to attend the awards night.

Homes of the ‘Bramford’ design are priced from just £389,995, while the ‘Wilton’ housetype is priced from £369,995. Alternative three and four-bedroom properties are currently available at Countess Manor from £225,995 and £345,995.

The development benefits from a tranquil tree-lined setting off Sandy Hill Lane in Moulton, nestled between an established residential area and the peaceful Northamptonshire countryside.

Moulton is an attractive village with a good choice of amenities for day-to-day life, including a post office and convenience stores, a pharmacy and a doctors’ surgery, and a choice of pubs and places to eat.

Families will appreciate that schools for all ages lie within the village, with Moulton Primary School for younger children and Moulton School and Science College, which has a sports complex with sports hall, fitness room and all-weather pitch available for community use, for secondary students, as well as Moulton Agricultural College.

Meanwhile, the high street stores and bars, places to eat and entertainment facilities of Northampton town centre are just four miles away, while Sixfields leisure park, with its multi-screen cinema, bowling alley, gym, and further shops and restaurants, is easily accessible by car.

Countess Manor has an enviable position close to the A43 for easy access to the A14 and M1, while Northampton railway station provides good local services, plus regular trains into London Euston and Birmingham New Street.

To get the chance to see the fabulous new showhomes at Countess Manor, property-seekers can visit the Sales Centre, located off Sandy Lane, Moulton, Northampton, NN3 7JB, and open Thursday to Monday from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
