Show home opens at new development

17th January 2014 Print

A fabulous new show home on a Northamptonshire development from leading house builder Persimmon Homes proved a real hit over the festive period.

Visitors to The Hedgerows at Irthlingborough, with its range of the two, three and four bedroom homes, escaped the Christmas excesses to take a look around the stunning Thirsk style show home.

The Thirsk is a detached, four bedroom property with lounge, kitchen dining room, utility room and cloakroom downstairs and a master bedroom with en suite, three further bedrooms and a family bathroom upstairs. One of the children’s bedrooms in the show home has been decorated with a Gruffalo theme.

Debbie Box, area sales manager for Persimmon Homes Midlands, said: “We began selling properties at The Hedgerows last autumn, and they are going really well.

“The newly opened show home proved a real hit over Christmas and the new year, with visitor numbers high.

“I am confident The Hedgerows offers everything you could want from modern living, and with prices starting at just £144,950 for a three bed semi there is something to suit everyone’s budget. We also have a number of special offers and schemes designed to get you moving, including 100 per cent part exchange and the popular Help to Buy shared equity scheme.”

Irthlingborough is a small town on the western side of the River Nene with a really strong sense of community and set against a backdrop of beautiful rolling green countryside. It has a strong boot and shoe history and was the home of the famous Dr Martens brand for more than 50 years.

The town lies along the Nene Way, a waymarked long-distance footpath which trails the banks of the river for part or all of its 70 miles as it goes ‘up hill and down dale’. Visitors can enjoy quality fishing at Glebe Meadow Fishery and the nature reserve at nearby Ditchford Lakes and Meadows.

The town has a variety of local and independent shops and a selection of cafés, pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes, while nearby Wellingborough has a wider selection of high street brands and well known stores.
