RSA launches new restaurants and hotels policy

RSA, one of the largest UK Commercial insurers, has launched a new Restaurants and Hotels insurance policy, offering flexible cover with a wealth of benefits to the hospitality trade.

It provides insurance for small-unlicensed hotels with up to six rooms or restaurants with up to 150 seats and has flexible limits to suit the needs of most businesses.

The policy covers:

Contents, stock, public/products liability and employers’ liability
Cover for hotel guests’ personal effects (£2,500 per guest)
50% seasonal stock increase during November, December and 30 days prior to Easter
All Risk Goods in Transit cover of £2,500 with the option to extend to £10,000
£1,000 cover for damage to frozen and chilled food with the option to extend to £10,000 per unit
Public/products liability £2m standard indemnity cover can be reduced, increased or deselected as required
Automatic Money package of £1,000 with option to decrease or increase where necessary
