New Year, new confidence, new build

New confidence in the property market coupled with positive price predictions for the year ahead mean that now is the perfect time to make the move to a stunning new Redrow home in Crawley Down.

With a Home.co.uk forecast predicting that property prices in the South East could rise more than 10% this year and a Halifax survey showing that more than half of Britons think 2014 is a good time to sell, the property market has definitely taken an upbeat turn.

Properties that were deemed too pricey before could now be achievable thanks to various financial options on offer such as the Help to Buy scheme, which allows homebuyers to secure a property with a 5% deposit. Alternatively, there’s also the option of Part Exchange for those with a property to sell.

Both are available at Redrow’s Kings Acre development in Crawley Down where there is a range of impressive three and four-bedroom family homes.

Kerry Jenkins, head of sales for Redrow Homes, (South East), said: “There are now plenty of ways to purchase a home at Kings Acre. We have beautifully crafted new homes that are all ready to move into, and the various schemes not only make these houses more affordable but also help to take the stress out of moving.”

As part of the Part Exchange scheme, house hunters can have their home independently valued and could then receive a cash offer from Redrow within a week. The scheme removes all housing chains and there are no costly estate agents fees.

Many of the homes at Kings Acre also fall below the £600,000 threshold and therefore qualify for Help to Buy. This scheme offers purchasers an equity loan for up to 20% of the purchase price and buyers then only need a deposit of 5% and a 75% mortgage to proceed.

Homes at the development include the premium Richmond design which marries a modern interior with a classical English outside design. Available in an attractive brick and render finish, the four bedroom home boasts a generous integrated double garage and attractive gardens – with an en suite and walk in wardrobe within the master bedroom.
