Property-seekers will have to hurry if they want to secure one of the last homes available to buy in the current phase at Taylor Wimpey’s in-demand Beechbrook Park.

There are now just two beautiful five-bedroom properties on sale from this fast-selling collection of homes in the village of Buxted, near Uckfield – the ‘Ashdown’ semi-detached house, priced at £425,000, and the ‘Weald’ detached home, priced £450,000.

Discerning purchasers will be pleased to learn that a new selection of properties will be released for sale soon at Beechbrook Park, so would-be buyers are urged to register their interest now to be in with a chance of securing their favourite plot.

Sarah Pasco, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “It’s no surprise savvy homebuyers have been quick to snap up their pick of the homes available at this attractive new development, which enjoys a fantastic rural setting.

“With only two homes remaining available to buy in the current phase, I would encourage potential purchasers to act now to ensure they don’t miss out on one of these stunning new houses.”

The five-bedroom Plot 59 ‘Ashdown’ semi-detached house is ready to move into and boasts a generous living/dining room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, plus a kitchen/breakfast room and a guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the first-floor landing leads to an en-suite bedroom, a further double bedroom and a family bathroom, while an en-suite master bedroom, two additional bedrooms and a shower room can be found on the top floor. Outside, there’s a double garage.

Alternatively, the five-bedroom Plot 24 ‘Weald’ detached house features a dual-aspect living room, a kitchen/dining room, a guest cloakroom on the ground floor, an en-suite master bedroom, two further bedrooms and a family bathroom on the first floor, two double bedrooms and a shower room on the top floor and a garage and driveway parking outside.

The Help to Buy scheme is available at the development, enabling first-time buyers and those with a property to sell to secure a Government loan for 20% of their new home’s full price – meaning they only require a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a 5% deposit.

Help to Buy is available on new-build properties up to the value of £600,000. There is no salary cap for homebuyers taking advantage of the scheme.

With a population of 3,000, Buxted is a peaceful yet thriving community located on the edge of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Buxted has its own primary school, and a toddler group and pre-school are also located in the village, while day nurseries and secondary schooling can be found in nearby Uckfield.

There is a village store and pharmacy, a new medical centre, two pubs, plus a popular restaurant at nearby Buxted Park Hotel, while supermarkets, high street shops and other amenities can be found in the local market towns of Uckfield, which is two miles away, and Crowborough, which is six miles from home.

A haven for commuters, Buxted has its own railway station, which offers direct services to London Bridge in about 70 minutes. The village is also handy for the A22 with its routes to Eastbourne, London and the M25 and the A26 to Tunbridge Wells 15 miles away and Brighton, 21 miles from home.
