Householders who dream of a home with more space can escape to a bigger property by taking advantage of the Government’s Help to Buy scheme at Taylor Wimpey’s Dean Acre development near Cheltenham.

Growing families will appreciate the need for a home which gives them that essential extra bedroom, while others may long for a bigger kitchen or a house with a garden – all of which are available at the leading housebuilder’s new development in the historic village of Bishops Cleeve.

Fast-acting buyers can snap up one of two spacious four-bedroom detached houses which are ready to move into now at Dean Acre.

Charlie Joseph, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “A lot of people will be stuck in a rut, wondering how they will ever be able to afford a bigger place, but the introduction of Help To Buy means many purchasers will find they can afford a larger home than they might have previously thought possible.

“For anyone living in a home which is becoming too small for their needs, that extra bit of space can really make all the difference to their everyday lives.

“I’d urge anyone who dreams of a luxury lifestyle in a spacious new property to speak to the Sales Executive at Dean Acre without delay.”

The Help to Buy shared equity scheme enables first-time buyers and those looking to move home to secure a Government loan for 20% of their new property’s full price – meaning they only require a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a 5% deposit.

Help to Buy is available on new-build homes up to the value of £600,000. There is no salary cap for purchasers taking advantage of the scheme.

There is a superb selection of new homes available to buy at Dean Acre, including two-bedroom properties from just £165,000, three-bedroom houses from only £225,000 and four-bedroom homes from as little as £335,000.

Plot 103, the four-bedroom detached, ‘Thornford’ house, priced from £375,000, is ready to move into now and features a well-proportioned living room and a dual-aspect family room, both opening through French doors to the private rear garden, plus a kitchen, a separate dining room and a guest cloakroom completing the ground-floor layout.

Upstairs, the landing leads to an en-suite master bedroom, three further bedrooms and a main bathroom, while outside, there’s a garage and parking.

Alternatively, Plot 109 the four-bedroom detached ‘Henham’ house, priced from £340,000 and also ready now, boasts a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a guest cloakroom, an en-suite master bedroom, three further double bedrooms, a bathroom and an integral garage.

Located just three miles north of Cheltenham, Dean Acre enjoys a fantastic setting in the beautiful village of Bishops Cleeve, which dates back to the 8th century and still features historic buildings and thatched cottages.

Bishops Cleeve offers a range of shops and amenities, including the quaint Tarlings Yard with its independent shops and cafes, while nearby Cheltenham boasts an extensive selection of high street shops and department stores.

Parents will appreciate that there is a village school, Bishops Cleeve Primary School, which was rated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted at its most recent inspection, while commuters will enjoy easy access to the M5 for routes to Bristol and the West Midlands.

Anyone who dreams of upgrading to a bigger home can find out more about using Help to Buy at Dean Acre by visiting the Sales and Information Centre, located off Evesham Road, Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham, GL52 8SA, and open daily from 11am to 5.30pm. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
