Leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey West Midlands is investing more than £2.55 million in local community facilities as part of a major new homes development which is taking shape in Coventry.

Taylor Wimpey’s New Stoke Village is delivering high-quality homes plus a host of amenities to the community – including financial contributions for the local area totaling £2.55 million.

The money being pledged by Taylor Wimpey in association with the Promenade and the Heights developments includes £1.8 million for education facilities and £750,000 to be spent within the Stoke Aldermoor community, a priority neighbourhood in Coventry.

In addition, 120 of the new homes to be constructed at the overall development, will be designated as affordable housing.

Elaine Taylor, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We are committed to ensuring this exciting new development in New Stoke Village offers much more than just high-quality properties for local people.

“Our investment of more than £2.55 million will help to improve local education facilities for both new residents of our development and families already living in the area, as well as providing much-needed funding for the Stoke Aldermoor community.”

The latest phase of The Promenade is now on sale, offering a range of three and four-bedroom homes from only £177,995. Two-bedroom apartments are also available to buy now at The Heights, priced from as little as £105,500.

Our exciting new development in the up-and-coming area of New Stoke Village is located on the eastern fringes of Coventry’s historic city centre. This emerging residential neighbourhood benefits from attractive green open spaces, cycle routes and footpaths, with a choice of schools for children of all ages located nearby.

Coventry boasts an extensive selection of shops, plus theatres, cinemas, museums, art galleries, restaurants and bars, plus the Coventry SkyDome Ice Rink, the Ricoh Arena and the first city-centre IKEA to be opened in the UK.

Junction 2 of the M6 is less than five miles away and Coventry railway station only two miles from home for regular services to London Euston and Birmingham.
