Discerning purchasers have been quick to reserve their pick of the brand new homes now on sale at Taylor Wimpey’s hotly-anticipated Dunstone Gardens development in Elburton, Devon.

Since its launch in December, this exciting new community has been wowing property-seekers looking for a superb family-sized home in an unbeatable location close to the coast.

Three plots have already been snapped up at the development and would-be buyers are being urged not to delay a visit to Dunstone Gardens – or they could miss out on their perfect place.

Janine Copleston, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey says: “We are delighted to unveil the first selection of new homes for sale at Dunstone Gardens, which is already generating a great deal of interest from savvy buyers.

“By acting now, home-hunters can be among the first to choose their favourite plot from this wonderful collection – and make sure someone else doesn’t beat them to it!”

There’s a superb range of homes available to buy now at Dunstone Gardens, including four-bedroom houses priced from only £425,000 and five-bedroom properties from as little as £435,000.

The five-bedroom Plot 3 ‘Drake House’ detached home, for example, is priced £435,000 and boasts a spacious living room and a kitchen/breakfast room, both opening through French doors to the private rear garden, with a dining room, a utility room and a guest cloakroom completing the ground-floor layout.

Upstairs, the landing leads to an en-suite master bedroom, a further en-suite double bedroom, three additional bedrooms and a main bathroom, while there’s also an integral double garage and driveway parking outside.

Help to Buy is available at Dunstone Gardens, enabling eligible first-time buyers to secure a Government loan for 20% of the full price of their new home – meaning they only require a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a 5% deposit.

The scheme is available on new-build properties up to the value of £600,000 and there is no salary cap for homebuyers taking advantage of the scheme.

Dunstone Gardens is located off Springfield Close, and neighbours the picturesque Dunstone Woods. Within a short walk are the village facilities of Elburton, including shops, supermarkets, a post office, pubs and places to eat.

Parents will appreciate the choice of schools for children of all ages within walking distance, including Elburton Primary School and Coombe Dean School for secondary age students, which were both rated ‘outstanding’ at their most recent Ofsted inspections.

Commuters will enjoy easy access to the A379 for journeys to Plymouth city centre, just four miles away, while Plymouth railway station offers services to Truro, Exeter and London Paddington.

Meanwhile, the new homes are just a short drive away from both Dartmoor National Park as well as the stunning Devon coastline. Bovisand and Wembury beaches are just four miles from home with sandy beaches and rock pools, plus picnic areas boasting fine views.

To find out more about the new homes on offer at Dunstone Gardens, house-hunters can visit the Sales Executive at Julian Marks estate agents on The Broadway, Plymstock, open Monday to Friday from 11am to 5.30pm and Saturdays from 11am to 4pm. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
