Taking in 390km over a period of just 2 days, The Yorkshire Grand Depart will see cycling enthusiasts embark across “God's Own County” on the first two stages of the 2014 Tour de France. The 101st edition of the world's largest annual sporting event begins in Leeds on 5th July, making its way via York to Sheffield on the 6th, prior to heading South from Cambridge to London the following day, before the French stages kick off on the 8th.

With over 20,000 volunteers from the local area, not to mention new road signs permanently enabling the public to follow the route for years to come, cyclists will be elevated to heights of almost 500m as they make their way across the peaks of the Yorkshire Dales, before descending into the city of Sheffield where Bespoke Hotels and The Sheffield Metropolitan Hotel will be only too happy to greet them.

Although the eyes of the world will be fixed on Yorkshire throughout the weekend of 5th and 6th July, Bespoke Hotels will welcome cyclists throughout the year. Until the end of 2014, those seeking both to gear up for and cool down from Le Tour can enjoy safe, free storage for their bikes while they relax in the centre of the Steel City.

What's more, beginning at just £90.00 p/p per night for a double or twin*, riders can enjoy the aforementioned cycle storage, complimentary energy bar, map printing service for the Stage 2 route of the 2014 tour, list of the best en-route cafes at which to recharge their batteries, as well as a full buffet breakfast and a weather report for the area. The perfect start to a day amidst the peloton.
