Leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey is investing more than £214,000 in the local community as part of its new homes development in the town of Bovey Tracey in Devon.

Monterey Park is a superb selection of stylish new homes, located on the edge of Dartmoor National Park.

The development includes affordable homes for rent, shared ownership and low-cost housing, giving local residents and key workers the opportunity to enjoy life in a brand new property within their own community.

Taylor Wimpey’s investment includes financial contributions of £69,957 for public open space, £55,373 for education, £75,335 for transport and £13,447 for cycling.

Janine Copleston, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “This investment in the local community reflects our belief that building a new homes development is about more than just providing high-quality properties for people to live in – it is about giving homebuyers the chance to be part of a thriving community.

“Our £214,114 contribution will benefit local people – young and old – as well as the new residents at Monterey Park in ways which will be felt for years to come. This is part of Taylor Wimpey’s commitment to the future of the communities we build.”

There are just 6 new homes remaining at Monterey Park, including four-bedroom properties from £269,995, and five-bedroom detached designs from £349,995.

All new homes at the development are completed to a high standard specification, including energy efficient central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.

To make moving even easier and more affordable, Taylor Wimpey offers a range of helpful homebuyer incentives for purchasers in a range of circumstances, including the Help to Buy scheme. Full details of homebuyer incentives are available from the Sales Executive.
