The Bellway Homes development at Heartlands, West Lothian, is reaching a key milestone with the launch of its showhomes this weekend (21 and 22 June 2014). The leading housebuilder is building 88 new homes at Scotland’s largest regeneration site, close to Polkemmet Country Park in West Lothian.

To celebrate the launch, Bellway Homes is offering a free £1,000 voucher for a shopping spree at The Centre, Livingston for all house reservations made at Heartlands by 31 July 2014.

With prices ranging from £140,995 to £191,995, Bellway Homes has a mixture of well-planned three and four-bedroom properties available at the development. House styles include the spacious three bedroom semi-detached Glencoe and Kinglock. For the first time in West Lothian, the housebuilder’s popular Rosedale style will be available.

Bellway Homes forms part of a new Heartlands community that will create a business, retail, residential and sporting destination in West Lothian. With sustainable living at the heart of the development, Heartlands is designed to provide community living within wide open spaces. The streets will be pedestrian and cycle friendly, with 22km footpaths and cycle paths connecting the entire development and traffic calming measures to slow down cars in keeping with this relaxed pace of life. The Heartlands community will ultimately have a focal point of a village square with community facilities and local shops.

Fraser Conn, Sales and Marketing Director at Bellway Homes, commented: “Bellway Homes has established a strong reputation for our expertise in the area of major regeneration projects and we are excited to be part of this innovative venture.

“We have already had a fantastic response since announcing our development at Heartlands and anticipate that this will continue following the launch of the showhomes on site.”

Located beside the new junction 4a on the M8, Bellway Homes’ Heartlands development is perfectly situated for easy access to both Edinburgh and Glasgow. Armadale train station with park and ride facilities is a short distance from the site and provides access to both the east and west of Scotland. Edinburgh and Glasgow airports are only a 20 minute and 45 minute drive away respectively.

Help to Buy (Scotland) and Express Mover schemes are available on selected plots at Heartlands. Help to Buy (Scotland) allows homebuyers, with a minimum of five per cent deposit, to receive an interest free equity loan of up to 20 per cent of the value of their new home with a maximum purchase price of £400,000, from the Scottish government, leaving a 75 per cent mortgage to secure with a lender.

The Express Mover initiative was devised to help ensure that selling and buying a new home is as stress-free as possible. Bellway Homes work with an independent local agent to help sell a buyer’s existing house. Once the selling price has been agreed, Bellway Homes then liaises with the independent local agent to encourage a buyer to be found as quickly as possible. This service is free of charge and exclusive to all Bellway Homes customers.
