Leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey is inviting renters to learn more about using the Help to Buy scheme to secure a home of their own at its popular Woodall Grange development in Dudley, West Midlands.

The average monthly cost of renting a two-bedroom property in Dudley is £487, yet with two-bedroom apartments priced from just £89,995 at Woodall Grange, potential homebuyers could find that purchasing a home of their own is more affordable than they imagined.

Help to Buy enables eligible first-time buyers, as well as existing homeowners, to secure a Government loan for 20% of their new home’s full price, meaning they only require a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a 5% deposit – which equates to less than £4,500!

Homebuyers will own 100% of their property from the outset, unlike shared ownership properties, and these stunning apartments are ready to move into now!

Anne Wallace, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Instead of lining their landlords’ pockets, tenants who dream of taking their first step on to the property ladder are urged to find out more about the Help to Buy scheme at Woodall Grange.

“They can leave behind the landlord’s dodgy decor and wasted rental payments by opting for one of our stylish two-bedroom apartments, which represent great value for money and are available to view now.

“But anyone who’s interested in finding out more should come and visit us at Woodall Grange as soon as possible – because these fantastic homes won’t be around for long!”

The ‘Chester’ apartment, for example, is priced from £97,995 and features a light and airy dual-aspect kitchen/dining/living room, an en-suite master bedroom, a further bedroom, a main bathroom and a handy storage cupboard, while allocated parking can be found outside.

Alternatively, the two-bedroom ‘Canterbury’ is priced from £89,995, while two-bedroom houses from only £155,995, three-bedroom properties from £152,995 and four-bedroom designs from as little as £229,995.

Help to Buy is available on new-build properties up to the value of £600,000 and there is no salary cap for homebuyers taking advantage of the scheme.

Woodall Grange is a private development which enjoys a well-connected location off Constitution Hill, just a short stroll from the extensive selection of shops, restaurants and entertainment venues in Dudley town centre.

Meanwhile, big name brands, niche products, everyday items and special gifts can be snapped up at any one of over 230 stores at Merry Hill Shopping Centre, three miles away, where food from across the globe can be enjoyed at more than 50 places to eat. Families will also appreciate the good choice of nursery, primary and secondary schools located near the new homes.

For commuters, there’s quick access to the A4123 into Birmingham or Wolverhampton, while junction 2 of the M5 motorway is just a few miles away, providing links to the M42 and M6 for the Midlands and beyond. Dudley Port railway station is just over two miles from home, offering services into Birmingham New Street in approximately 15 minutes.

Would-be first-time buyers can find out more about buying a place of their own at Woodall Grange by visiting the Sales Centre, located off Martin Hill Street, Dudley, West Midlands, DY2 8RT, and open daily from 11am to 5pm. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
