Wizz Air continues expansion in Romania
Wizz Air, the low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, has announced further enhancements to its low fare route network in Romania. From 1 November 2014 the airline will start operating 2 weekly flights from Timisoara to Bari, while from 14 March 2015 there will be a twice weekly service from Cluj-Napoca to Bari. Both services will be operated on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
The seaside city Bari offers great sightseeing opportunities in the Puglia region. From the historic centre to the Basilica di San Nicole or the Castello Svevo, Bari is a perfect destination for those looking for the sun or an authentic experience of Italian culture and history.
With the latest addition to the network, Wizz Air now offers 21 routes from Cluj-Napoca and 15 routes from Timisoara.
Seats on Wizz Air’s newest Romanian routes are already on sale and can be booked at wizzair.com.
Wizz Air’s Daniel de Carvalho said: “Today we are thrilled to announce 2 new routes from Romania, from Timisoara and Cluj-Napoca to Bari. We are confident that our passengers from Romania will enjoy visiting the Adriatic Sea and the province of Bari, while Italian travelers can discover more of the Romanian regions by flying on one of our new Airbus A320 to enjoy great value vacations across the sea.”
