Eagerly anticipated showhomes are due to open at Redrow’s latest Telford development this weekend (Oct 10/11).

More than 100 prospective purchasers have registered their interest in the properties at The Coppice in Leegomery, and, while some have had the foresight to reserve ‘off- plan’, others are keenly awaiting their first glimpse inside the homes.

Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), says: “Demand for new homes in this part of Telford is strong, particularly amongst buyers with children as the area is well served by schools. One eager buyer has already reserved and several people who want particular properties have made what we call ‘early bird’ reservations, giving them first refusal when their dream home is released onto the market. Each week we receive around 40 enquiries from people keen to move here, who want to know when the showhomes will be open.”

The Coppice features two, three and four-bedroom designs from the sought-after Heritage Collection. Traditional on the outside, bright and modern inside, the homes combine Arts & Crafts inspired architecture with high specification interiors.

Two detached properties, a three-bedroom Warwick and a four-bedroom Stratford, both professionally styled by interior designers, will showcase all that a brand new Redrow home at The Coppice has to offer.

The Arts & Crafts influence can be clearly seen in the laplarch boarding that enhances the roofline of the Warwick and in the decorative door cornice that creates an elegant entrance.

Step inside, and it’s a practical home perfect for a young family or couple starting out. At its heart is an open plan kitchen and dining room which spans the rear of the property, with a separate lounge at the front. Upstairs there are three generously sized bedrooms, including master with en-suite shower room to complement the family bathroom.

The Stratford is the larger of the showhomes, offering 1,173 sq ft of accommodation including open plan kitchen and dining room, laundry space, lounge and cloaks to the ground floor, with four-bedrooms, including master with en-suite, and the family bathroom upstairs.

Current prices at The Coppice start from £162,995 for a three-bedroom Evesham. Customers could find that a new home is easier to afford by taking out a Help to Buy equity loan for up to 20% of the price. Crucially the loan is interest free for five years and those who buy in this way should only need a relatively small deposit of around 5%.

To be among the first to see inside the showhomes, visit The Coppice on Okehampton Road, this weekend (Oct 11 & 12).
